About the Founder - Meghal Vakil
Meghal Vakil is an accomplished legal professional with over 19 years of experience and has advised senior management across the retail, FMCG, technology, digital infrastructure, data centre, and manufacturing sectors. She specialises in legal and regulatory advisory, enterprise compliance, data privacy, contract management, estate planning, succession planning. She holds a B.Com, LL.B, and a Diploma in Cyber Laws from NALSAR University of Law.
She has held senior legal roles and has spent 13 years with the Tata Group, serving across three of its leading companies – Voltas, Tata Consumer Products Limited and Tata Starbucks Private Limited, where she provided strategic legal support across real estate, food laws, commercial contracting, supply chain operations and regulatory governance.
In her previous roles, she has successfully designed and implemented enterprise-wide compliance and data privacy programs aligned with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Her expertise spans corporate governance, cross-border data transfers, third-party due diligence, whistleblower mechanisms, Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act), and anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance.
She now extends her practice to advising individuals and families on comprehensive estate and succession planning, with a particular emphasis on designing robust inheritance structures, safeguarding personal and business assets, and establishing effective family governance frameworks to ensure continuity, clarity, and inter-generational harmony.
Recognised as a trusted advisor to C-suite and board leadership, she translates regulatory requirements into actionable strategies that mitigate organisational risk and support business growth. She is known for her forward-thinking approach, strong governance mindset, and commitment to integrity, transparency, and operational excellence.
